Black Hat Collective LJ
The Livejournal account for the Black Hat Collective, a really cool Twin Cities group that makes comics and then puts them together into books. Nicole is an editor for the BHC's first anthology as well as a contributor.
The Zombie Preparedness Initiative
An organization dedicated to educating the populace about the zombie menace and preparing its members to survive in the impending zombie apocalypse. Its webmaster also put together and hosts this site.
MISFITS (Minnesota Society for Interest in Science Fiction and Fantasy)
A Twin Cities-based geek organization full of fun people and entertaining activities. MISFITS hosts Geek Prom, movie nights, a slew of scifi/fantasy-oriented clubs, an annual writing contest, and CONvergence, the best convention around. They also do a lot of charity work and organized trips for authors, robotics techs, and reptile handlers to visit local schools.
